Founded in 2017, WIMMIC is a fabless semiconductor company designing integrated circuits, with expertise in the aerospace, communications and defense industries as well as in beamforming  integrated circuits (BFICs). 

We were established in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary islands, with the support of the research capabilities of the University Institute for Applied Microelectronics at the University of Las Palmas, where our HQ is now based.  Triple Helix was also instrumental in turning WIMMIC from a University spin-out to a fabless semiconductor start-up.

We bring extensive RF chip design experience to the table, with an entrepreneurial approach and a keen eye on quick time to market solutions. 

Now part of the international Celestia Technologies Group, we continue to build our expertise and reputation in RF design.  

WIMMIC is ISO 9001 quality certified for the design of RFICs and MMICs and has been certified as an Innovative SME by the Government of Spain.
