Pressure for results, demands coming from upper levels and even self-demanding demands place a continuous strain on managers.

Being the head of a company or department means a lot of responsibility. It means spending many hours of your time keeping the company afloat, being very busy for a long time and getting into the risk of being overburdened by tough challenges. These are confronted with enormous unforeseen events on a daily basis, which leads to constant stress.

It is a reality that managers do not get to switch off completely at times outside the work environment as all their tasks and obligations must be carried out correctly. In some way, you sacrifice personal life whilst feeling lonely and self-doubtful.

For this reason, it is important to set aside time to think and schedule your week in order to have a more objective view of your workload. Introspection is necessary to regain your self-confidence. Remember the achievements you have made and try to gain energy.

And above all, prevent your role in the company from taking over your life.
